The Society of African Missions or SMA FATHERS is a Society of Catholic priests, brothers and lay associates specializing in Missionary Work in Africa. It is founded by Bishop Melchior de Marion BrÄ—sillac on December 8, 1856 at Lyons, France.

They proclaim and live the Gospel with the people of Africa, labor to help the deprived, the hungry, the disabled, the spiritually and physically impoverished, serve as pastors, campus ministers, teachers, carpenters, media ministers, health care workers, seminary professors, formation personnel and refugee camp chaplains, and promote socio-economic development, agricultural programs.
